Women’s Soccer Heads to L.A. Pierce for First Round of Playoffs

TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College has qualified for the 2024 3C2A Southern California Women's Soccer Regionals and will begin action on Wednesday night on the road against the No. 15-seeded L.A. Pierce.

The Warriors drew the No. 18 seed in the postseason, marking the fourth straight year the Warriors have advanced to the playoffs after being absent from the postseason since 2010. The Warriors finished this regular season with a 9-7-5 overall record and 4-3-2 mark in conference play. They took third place at the South Coast Conference Tournament last week, beating Long Beach City in penalty kicks.

The Brahmas enter the postseason with a 13-5-2 overall record and 8-4 mark in Western State Conference play. They finished third in the WSC-North Division behind No. 4 seeded Santa Barbara and No. 7 seed Ventura.

Wednesday's match will kick off at 7 p.m. and the winner will take on No. 2 seed Pasadena City on Saturday.
