Bio

A team captain and All-Conference selection as a sophomore in 1998 for the Warriors, Grant played in 22 total games and recorded 123 total tackles (51 solo) in his two-year career. In 1998, Grant turned in his best year with 30 solo tackles and 39 assisted tackles to go along with eight quarterback sacks, six tackles for a loss, three fumble recoveries and eight pass break-ups. The Warriors went 7-3 with Grant as a team captain. He turned his time playing at ECC into a scholarship at Oregon State University where he played two seasons. He earned a First Team All-PAC 10 selection as well as a Second Team All-American nod with the Beavers. As a freshman, Grant recorded 37 total tackles (23 solo), six sacks and four pass break-ups. In his senior season, Grant was a team captain and recorded 41 total tackles (24 solo) with seven sacks, 13 tackles for a loss and four forced fumbles. He also recorded an interception and would go on to be drafted in the third round of the 2001 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders where he would play for five seasons. With the Raiders, Grant played in 49 games with 27 starts and recorded 67 career tackles (45 solo) and was a member of the 2003 Super Bowl team.
