Bio

White was named state player of the year and earned consecutive All-American selections in his time at El Camino College. As a freshman, White was named to the All-South Coast Conference First Team and earned his first All-American honors as he helped lead the Warriors to the state final four. As a sophomore, he repeated his individual accolades with All-SCC First Team and All-American honors as he led the SCC in rebounding. White helped lead the Warriors to the conference title as a sophomore and they would go on to win the state championship and finish ranked No. 1 in the nation. White would go on to transfer to Purdue where he helped lead the Boilermakers to consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances. He led the Big Ten conference in rebounds in 1990-91 and was named Third Team All Big-Ten. He also played for the United States in the 1994-95 Pan-American Games where he led the team in rebounding, averaging 11 a game. White is also distinguished as one of the top 75 male athletes in the history of El Camino College.
