Bio

Latario Rachal was a wide receiver and kick returner for the 1991-92 ECC football teams. He was named the team’s MVP and earned All-State and All-American honors with the Warriors. Rachal hauled in 91 catches for 1,773 yards and 14 touchdowns in his two seasons at ECC. He also posted 47 kick returns for 1,270 yards and two touchdowns. 
 
Rachal transferred to Fresno State University and, in 1994, he was named the Bulldogs’ Special Teams Player of the Year. During that season, Rachal ranked 10th in the Western Athletic Conference in punt return yards. He posted 71 punt-return yards on five attempts, good for a 14.2 average per return. He also recorded 147 kickoff return yards in nine attempts. 
 
Rachal would go on to play in the National Football League, playing two seasons with the San Diego Chargers.  He played in 25 games over two years with the Chargers, mainly on kick and punt returns. He finished with 32 punt returns for 387 yards and 26 kickoff returns for 528 yards in his NFL career.
