Bio
David Austin won the 3-meter diving state championship and set the state record in 2009 with the Warriors. He also placed third in the 1-meter diving event. Austin was a two-time state qualifier in both events despite never having participated in diving prior to attending ECC.
After his two years with the Warriors, Austin transferred to the University of Arizona where he was named the team captain in 2010-11. Austin was a PAC-10 Conference Championship Qualifier in his first season with the Wildcats in 2010.
After college, Austin moved to Portland, Oregon where he opened a boutique gym in 2013, which he owned and operated until he sold it in 2016.
In 2017, Austin married and drove across the country with his wife to Austin’s hometown of Burlington, Vermont. He would build another gym there, Peak Potential Fitness, which opened in May 2018.
