Five Warriors Earn All-SCC Honors
Five El Camino College women's water polo players earned All-South Coast Conference honors.
Freshman Savanna Kastigar and sophomore Yanie Camarador were named to the first-team, Alexis Vasquez and Alyssa Mack were named to the second-team and Olivia Mozian earned honorable mention honors, respectively.
Kastigar (Torrance, Calif./Torrance HS) led the team in the three major categories with 66 goals, 34 assists and 52 steals. She also tied for the team lead with six blocks and took 154 shots (42.9%).
Camarador (Torrance, Calif./Torrance HS) finished an outstanding caeer for the Warriors with 50 goals, 22 assists and 42 steals on the year. She tied Kastigar with six blocks.
Freshman utility player Vasquez (Torrance, Calif./Torrance HS) scored 37 times. She was second on the team with 28 assists and third with 39 steals.
Mack, a freshman from San Pedro, Calif. (San Pedro HS) had 10 goals, 19 assists and 17 steals.
Mozian (Redondo Beach, Calif./Redondo Union HS) scored 38 goals and had 16 assists and 28 steals in her freshman campaign.
