WALNUT, Calif. --- El Camino College dominated Cerritos 18-6 to claim third place at the South Coast Conference Tournament on Saturday afternoon at the Mt. SAC Aquatics Center.

The Warriors repeated their dominant performance over the Falcons from earlier in the regular season, sweeping Cerritos this year thanks to five goals from Yanie Camarador and four goals and five assists from Savanna Kastigar.

Alexis Vasquez added three goals and three assists while Olivia Mozian and Danielle Ciscel each had two goals.

The Warriors jumped out to a 5-1 lead after one period and went up 10-4 by halftime. They would outscore the Falcons 8-2 in the second half to put a stamp on the victory and help the Warriors finish with a 7-3 record in conference, the most conference wins in program history.

It is also the second straight year the Warriors have claimed third place in the SCC Tournament. Prior to last year, the Warriors had never finished higher than fourth in the SCC Tournament.
