TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College suffered a 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-13) South Coast Conference loss to Mount San Antonio on Wednesday night at the ECC Gym Complex.
The Warriors (1-9, 1-2) struggled offensively as they attacked at just a .010 clip. They also allowed nine service aces to the Mounties (6-6, 1-2), who attacked at a .245 clip on the night.
Sophia Ortiz led the Warriors with eight kills with Ryan D'Angelo adding six kills and a match high 15 digs. Bridget Dorr dished out 18 assists in a losing effort.
For the Mounties, Andrea Brewer led the way with 19 kills and 11 digs on a .381 attack percentage. Candace Ceballos added nine kills on a .500 attack percentage with Capri Salmon dishing out 36 assists in the victory.
The Warriors will return to action next Wednesday when they welcome Cerritos to the ECC Gym Complex. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
