Women’s Tennis Drops Final Home Match to Glendale

TORRANCE, Calif. – El Camino College managed to win one doubles match against visiting Glendale on Monday afternoon but that was all as the Warriors fell 8-1 to the Vaqueros the team's regular season finale at the ECC Tennis Courts.

The No. 1 doubles squad of Maddie Giese and Lina Ito scored a dominant 8-2 victory in their match, securing the only win of the day for the Warriors.

The team of Stephanie Kingham and Amanda Vitanatchi overcame a 6-2 deficit to take a 7-6 lead in their No. 2 doubles match but could not complete the comeback.

The Warriors will head to the conference championships later this week.
