UNITED SOCCER COACHES JUNIOR COLLEGE DIII RANKINGS - POLL 3

KANSAS CITY, Mo. --- El Camino College is ranked No. 17 in the nation according to the latest United Soccer Coaches' Junior College Division III Women's Soccer rankings released on Tuesday.

It was the Warriors' second straight appearance on the poll at No. 17 after not being ranked in the initial poll on Sept. 5.

The Warriors are currently 5-1-0 overall after winning their first five matches of the season by a combined score of 18-4 with two shutouts.

The Warriors have scored 19 goals this season, led by sophomore Allison Sibley's 12 tallies, which places her in a tie for the third most goals in the state.

The team's rank will be tested in the next few weeks as the Warriors are in the midst of five straight road matches in a three-week span. The team will not return home until the second week of South Coast Conference play when they are set to host Rio Hondo on Oct. 10.

The Warriors play their second road game of that five-game stretch tonight as they head to San Diego Mesa to face an Olympians squad that is riding a three-match winning streak. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.
