TORRANCE, Calif. - The El Camino College Warriors women's soccer team defeated the Moorpark College Raiders 1-0 on Tuesday afternoon at the ECC Soccer Field.
Allison Sibley scored her team leading 11th goal in the 68th minute to secure the win for the Warriors. She stole the ball off a back pass from the Raider defense and dribbled and set up her shot to give the Warriors the 1-0 lead. Sibley is currently second in the state with 11 goals.
McKenna Morey picked up the win and clean sheet after making five saves in goal.
Moorpark outshot the Warriors 13-to-8 with 6 shots on goal to 3 shots on goal advantage.
The Warriors will embark on a five game road trip beginning with a match next Friday at Fullerton College. Kick-off is set for 3:00 p.m.
