Sibley Scores Another Pair as Warriors Dominate West L.A.

TORRANCE, Calif. --- Allison Sibley scored twice as El Camino College secured a convincing 5-0 victory over West Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon at the ECC Soccer Field.

Sibley recorded two goals for the second straight match as the Warriors improved to 2-0-0. McKenna Morey scored the victory in goal as she made one save in 45 minutes of action. Freshman Nevaeh Johnson also saw her first action for the Warriors as she entered in the second half to take over goalkeeping duties.

Sophomore Natalie Rodriguez opened the scoring for the Warriors in the eighth minute with a right-footed strike past keeper Jenny Sosa to the far post for a 1-0 advantage.

A shade more than 10 minutes later, Sibley recorded her first goal of the afternoon off a helper from Ruby Colcol to make it 2-0.

Bella Baligad would make it 3-0 in the 37th minute off an assist from Yoseline Panduro and Ariana Ramirez capped off the scoring in the first half by scoring on a penalty kick just before halftime.

Sibley put the final touch on the day with a goal in the 77th minute as she bent a corner kick into the net to make it 5-0.

The Warriors will return to action on Friday afternoon against Santa Monica with kickoff set for 1 p.m.
