LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - With almost 90 minutes complete in Friday's match between El Camino College and Los Angeles City, Allison Sibley scored a game winning goal in the 90th minute to lead the Warriors to a 3-2 road win over the Cubs.
Sibley was assisted by Tana Wynia on a breakaway and beat the keeper 1v1 to secure the victory for the Warriors.
The Warriors improved to 8-2-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
The Cubs scored first in the 43rd minute to take a 1-0 lead.
However, the Warriors would equalize right before halftime on Angelica Taylor's team leading 6th goal of the season. She scored on a through ball from Mia Hogentogler.
The Warriors went ahead in the 58th minute after Hogentogler headed the ball into the net on a cross from alexi Anaya.
However LACC equalized late in the 86h minute to make it a 2-2 game.
The Warriors would find some late game heroics by Allison Sibley and Tana Wynia to get the road win.
The Warriors outshot the Cubs 13-to-6 for the game and had 9 shots on goal to the Cubs 3 shots on goal.
Karlee Clark started in goal and made three saves for the game.
The Warriors now head home on Tuesday for a match against Long Beach City College. Kick-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
