LONG BEACH, Calif. - The El Camino College women's soccer team defeated the Long Beach City College Vikings 2-1 on Tuesday night on the road.
El Camino (8-6-2, 5-2-1) scored twice in the last twenty minutes to pick up a huge road win over the Vikings (7-6-2, 4-4). With the win over Long Beach, the Warriors moved into first place in the South Coast Conference-South Division and third overall in the South Coast Conference behind Mt. Sac and Rio Hondo.
The Vikings took the lead near the end of the first half after a goal by Jennifer Skrumbis.
Sierra Rangel scored the equalizing goal in the 74th minute after an assist from Natalie Vargas.
Meila Bissoondial scored the game-winning goal over the Vikings in the 90th minute after an assist from Sierra Rangel.
Karlee Clark made two saves for the game and moved to 7-5-2 for the season.
The Warriors have won four games in a row and look to make it five in a row on Friday for their final regular season home game of the season. The Warriors face LA City College with kick-off set for 4:00 PM.
