TORRANCE, Calif. - El Camino College suffered their third consecutive loss after falling 1-0 to Long Beach City College at home on Friday afternoon.
The Warriors (2-7-3) were on their heels for most of the game against the faster Vikings (7-3) attack.
Long Beach outshot El Camino 24 shots to 2 shots. Kelly Gallagher was immense in goal for the Warriors after making 9 saves for the game.
The Vikings scored the only goal of the game in the 63rd minute. Allison Rose Veloz scored off a deflected shot from the top of the box.
Monica Bernadino had the only shot on goal for the Warriors.
The Warriors will look to right the ship with another game on Tuesday. They host the College of the Desert on Tuesday, October 15th to finish off their non-conference schedule. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
