TORRANCE, Calif. - The Warriors extended their losing streak to five games as they suffered a 4-0 defeat at home against Rio Hondo College on Tuesday afternoon.
El Camino College (4-9) gave up two goals in each half to the Rio Hondo Roadrunners (8-1-3).
The Warriors were outshot in the game 17 to 5. El Camino's best chance to score came in the 39th minute when Nalleli Mendoza hit the top of the crossbar from on top of the 18-yard box.
Joelle Niimi started in net for the Warriors and made two saves. Rosemary Montalvo played the last couple minutes of the second half and made one save.
The Warriors now head to Mt. Sac on Friday, October 19th for a South Coast Conference crossover game. Kick-off is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
