LONG BEACH , Calif. - El Camino College lost their South Coast Conference opener 1-0 on the road at Long Beach City College.
The Warriors (2-4, 0-1) were outshot 16-5 on the day against the Vikings (2-3-1, 1-0). The Warriors were only able to muster one shot on goal.
Rosemary Montalvo made seven saves for the day. Sara Larios made one save for the Vikings.
El Camino College held Long Beach to a 0-0 score at halftime, despite being outshot 10 to 3. However, the Vikings scored their only goal of the game in 50th minute when Quinn Trowbridge scored on a freekick.
The Warriors return home for their first home conference game on Friday, September 28th against LA Harbor. The game is set to kick-off at 2:00 PM at the ECC Soccer Field.
