Warriors Wrap Up Home Schedule with Victory

TORRANCE, Calif. - El Camino College defeated the Compton Tartars 1-0 in their final home game of the season on Tuesday afternoon.
Although the scoreline was only 1-0, El Camino College (10-9-1, 4-3) thoroughly dominated the Tartars of Compton College (2-17, 0-8). The Warriors outshot the Tartars 27-3 and had nine shots on goal compared to the Tartar's one shot on goal.
Isabel Rojas started at goalkeeper for the Warriors before ECC made a plethora of substitutions. Kelly Gallagher would take over the net for the rest of the game and made one save on Compton's only shot on goal.
Brittany Baker scored her first goal of the season in the 35th minute. She took a shot from 20 yards outside the box that went past the Compton goalkeeper. It would be the only goal of the game.
Every player for the Warriors saw action in today's game. At one point all three goalkeepers were on the field for ECC. Gallagher was in net and Rojas and Christina Johnson were playing up top for the Warriors.
The Warriors will return to action on Friday, November 10th for their final game of the season. They will travel to LA Harbor for a 1:00 PM game.
