Janina Hartwill enters her eighth year as an assistant coach for the El Camino College Women’s basketball program. As a former Warriors student-athlete, she played under Head Coach Steve Shaw from 2006-2008. Immediately after she joined the coaching staff as an assistant coach.

During 2011-2013 she was the Head Varsity Coach for the girls basketball team at Animo Venice High School. Hartwill took the team to the city playoffs in both of her seasons at the helm. She returned to El Camino College to assist coach Shaw. 

Coach Hartwill received her Associates of Arts degree in sociology from El Camino and then received her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Cal State Dominguez Hills.
