TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College snapped a six-game losing streak on Wednesday night with a 64-39 non-conference win over L.A. Pierce at the ECC Gym Complex.
The Warriors (2-7) had three players score in double figures with sophomore Brandy Castaneda leading the way with 25 points. She added nine rebounds, seven steals and five assists in the victory.
Imani Taitt-Gibbs recorded a double-double with 14 points and 18 rebounds while Christina Tsukahira added 13 points and six rebounds.
For the Brahmas, Tijera Henry led the way with 15 points and nine rebounds while May Htet Lu scored 10 with seven boards.
The Warriors will host their first ever Alumni Game on Friday night at 7 p.m. before returning to regular season action on Dec. 16 against Santa Ana at the ECC Gym Complex.
