TORRANCE, Calif. --- Brandy Castaneda scored 24 points and had a career-high nine steals as El Camino College defeated Compton 73-32 in a South Coast Conference game Wednesday night at the ECC Gymnasium.
Piper Takenaka added 13 points and Jaden Sanderson scored 11 as the Warriors (8-12, 2-3) snapped a three-game losing streak.
The Warriors shot 48.5 percent from the field on Wednesday and forced 36 turnovers. They would go on to score 40 points off the Tartars miscues.
The Warriors will return to action on Friday night with a road contest against L.A. Harbor.
