TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College dropped a 68-56 decision to Long Beach Friday night at the ECC Gymnasium.
Brandy Castaneda scored 15 points to lead a Warriors team that had four players score in double figures.
Jaden Sanderson scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds while Sarah Downs added 12 points off the bench and Piper Takenaka dropped 10 with eight rebounds. Gialana Orocio led the Warriors with nine assists and tied for the team lead with three steals on the night.
Aaliyah Carter led the Vikings with 19 points on 9-for-18 shooting. Rosemary Lazareno scored 17 points and Navi Huskey added 16 points with a game-high 16 rebounds.
The Warriors will return to action on Monday with a road game against Compton.
