Warriors Drop Game to Irvine Valley

TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College lost to visiting Irvine Valley 59-43 in a non-conference game Friday night at the ECC Gymnasium.

The Warriors shot just 28 percent from the field on Friday night to drop their second straight game at home. The Lasers (4-1) had three players score in double figures led by Paola Roa's 16 points.

For the Warriors, Piper Takenaka led the way with 12 points to go along with a team high nine rebounds. Jaden Sanderson added 11 points and seven rebounds with seven steals in a losing effort.

The Warriors will return to action on Dec. 3 in the Lady Charger Tournament hosted by Cypress College. The Warriors will face East Los Angeles in the opening game of the tourney. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
