TORRANCE, Calif. – Kayla Bibb and Amiete Nyingifa each recorded a double-double as El Camino College scored a 73-51 victory over L.A. Southwest Wednesday night at the ECC North Gym.
Bibb scored 26 points on 12-for-16 shooting and pulled down 13 rebounds for the Warriors (18-6, 6-0) while Nyingifa added 13 points and 14 boards. Jordan Hixon grabbed 10 rebounds in 18 minutes off the bench and Makenna Peneueta led the Warriors with 10 assists.
The Warriors led wire-to-wire and held L.A. Southwest to 29.2 percent shooting. The Warriors connected on 5-of-12 from beyond the arc and outrebounded their opponent 54-20.
The Warriors will head to Long Beach City on Friday night. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m.
