TORRANCE, Calif. – Kayla Bibb notched her second double-double in the last three games as El Camino College upended Cypress College 67-57 in a non-conference affair Tuesday night at the ECC North Gym.

The Warriors (6-0) held the Chargers (1-4) to 26.9 percent shooting on the night and Bibb led the way with 26 points and 12 rebounds. It was Bibb's third 20-point outing of the season and fourth double-digit scoring output as she shot 9-for-17 from the field and 8-for-10 from the free-throw line.

Amiete Nyingifa was the only other Warriors player to record double-digits as she scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds along with four steals. The Warriors defense also forced 21 Chargers turnovers including 13 steals and they recorded 21 points off the Chargers miscues.

But the Warriors gained some separation with an 8-3 run of their own, capped off by Katelyn Martin's layup with 1:50 left in the third.

The Chargers would not go away though as they cut the deficit to three by the end of the quarter before the Warriors outscored the Chargers 23-16 in the final period, shooting 50 percent (6-for-12) from the field and 10-for-12 to seal the victory.

Bibb scored 13 of her 26 in the final period, going 4-for-5 from the field and 5-for-6 from the charity stripe.
