Badminton Falls Short at Compton

COMPTON, Calif. --- El Camino College suffered an 11-10 South Coast Conference loss to Compton on Wednesday afternoon at Compton College.

The Warriors got another stellar performance from Anya Gore, who finished 3-1 on the day. She won both of her singles matches and one doubles match.

The difference in the match came in the No. 1 doubles match and No. 4 singles match as the Warriors dropped each in three sets.

If the Warriors had managed to turn either of those matches in their favor they would have emerged victorious.

The Warriors will return to action on Friday, April 11 against San Diego Mesa at the Manhattan Beach Badminton Club.
