Badminton Falls to Pasadena City College, 20-1

ORRANCE, Calif. - The Warriors have had a tough start to their 2017 season, losing to South Coast Conference rivals, Pasadena City College. The Warriors hosted the Lancers on Friday, March 3rd and ended up losing 20-1.

Freshman Phoebe Torres earned the Warriors' only point during her No. 3 singles match. She faced Lancer Janin Herrera, taking the win 21-18, 22-20.

Coach John Britton commented on the competition, "We were dominated by a very strong Pasadena, the defending Conference champions. There were several other close matches, but Pasadena always managed to eke out the victory."

Next up, the Warriors face East Los Angeles College on Friday, March 10th at home at 2pm.
