MONTERREY PARK, Calif. --- El Camino College competed at the two-day Pasadena Invitational held at the East Los Angeles College Pool on Friday and Saturday.

The Warriors finished second on the men's side (803 points) and third on the women's side (508) as a number of new school records were set.

Sophomore Mia Park continued her assault on the ECC record books as she broke four school records. Park set a new record in the 50 free with a time of 23.88, the first ever Warriors swimmer to finish the race in under 24 seconds.  

She also set the record in the 200 IM (2:07.78), 1650 free (17:22.08), and in the 100 free (51.99) as a part of the lead leg in the relay.

Iyanah Samayoa also set new ECC records in the 100 breast (1:07.68) and 200 breast (2:24.76), a repeat feat after she set the new marks in the first meet of the season.

On the men's side, Alex Yousefi set a new record in the 50 backstroke with a time of 24.28.
