Trejo Qualifies for CCCAA State Championships

TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College diver Tyler Trejo will be headed to the California Community College State Championships after he qualified in both the 1-meter and 3-meter event at the CCCAA SoCal Diving Regionals on April 15-16 at the ECC Aquatics Center.

Trejo punched his ticket into the 3-meter event on Friday after finishing in fifth place with a total score 146.30. He was one of 17 divers to partake in the 3-meter event.

The following day, Trejo qualified in the 1-meter event and will now have a chance to compete on both boards at the state championships.

The 2022 CCCAA Swimming and Diving State Championships are scheduled to take place on May 5-7 at East Los Angeles College.
