Warriors Upend L.A. Harbor on the Road

WILMINGTON, Calif. --- El Camino College jumped out to a quick lead and never looked back in a 10-1 South Coast Conference road win in six innings against L.A. Harbor.

The Warriors pounded out 14 hits and recorded their seventh straight win to start the season and also posted their fourth run-rule win of the year.

Savanna Kastigar and Lilly Lewis each went 4-for-4 while Lexi Ramirez hit a three-run home run in a five-run sixth inning to essentially put the game away.

Ramirez also went 5 and 1/3 innings in the circle and allowed just one hit with a walk and seven strikeouts to pick up her sixth win of the season. Maite Owens and Mahlia Espino recorded the final two outs in the sixth to secure the victory.

Emily Gamboa went 2-for-4 on the day while Anahi Pintado, Morgan Knight and Cami Garcia also recorded hits in the win.

The Warriors will return home on Thursday to welcome Pasadena for a 3 p.m. first pitch.
