2024 Rawlings Gold Glove Award Release

LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- El Camino College freshman outfielder Anahi Pintado was named a recipient of a 2024 Cal JC Rawlings Gold Glove Award presented by the National Fastpitch Coaches' Association, it was announced Wednesday.

Pintado was one of nine players in the state to earn the award, garnering the accolade for her play in left field for the Warriors this season. She was one of nine players in California to be honored as the best defensive players at their respective positions in the state this season.

Recipients of the Rawlings Gold Glove Awards, presented by the NFCA, were selected by a full NFCA Cal JC membership vote following regional voting to identify the finalists at each position. The group utilized fielding statistics and school-submitted video to closely examine finalists and select the winners at every defensive position. Any student-athlete that competed in the current championship year and was nominated by their head coach who is a member in good standing with the NFCA was eligible for consideration for this prestigious accolade.

Pintado played in 41 games this season, the majority of those in left field. She posted a .988 fielding percentage in 83 total defensive chances this season.
