3C2A PLAYERS OF THE WEEK RELEASE
LOS ANGELES, Calif. --- Sophomore Madilyn Radeke was named the 3CFCA State Pitcher of the Week, it was announced late Tuesday.
Radeke recorded complete-game victories over No. 15 Cerritos and No. 1 Fullerton last week. On Tuesday, she blanked Cerritos allowing just five hits and striking out four.
She followed that performance with more brilliance, holding No. 1 Fullerton to just one run on six hits as the Warriors beat the Hornets 2-1.
In the two games she allowed just one earned run on 11 hits in 14 innings pitched.
This season, Radeke has gone 13-2 in the circle with one save in 99.0 innings pitched. She's recorded a 1.63 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP to become the clear-cut ace of the Warriors rotation.
The Warriors are currently ranked No. 6 in Southern California and No. 11 in the state in the latest 3CFCA rankings. They close out the 2024 regular season with games at Cypress on Wednesday and Long Beach at home on Thursday.
