Cardona Leads Cross Country at Riverside/Cal Baptist Invite

Riverside, Calif. - Sophomore Israel Cardona finished 23rd overall in a time of 27:05 to lead the Warriors at the Riverside/Cal Baptist Invite on Friday.

The team chose to compete in the 8,000-meter course over the four-mile race. 

Sophomore Solomon Kanehailua was the team's second finisher, completing the race in 27:29, good for 29th.

On the women's side, three Warriors competed in the 5,000-meter race, led by freshman Brianna Harmon's 25th-place finish in 20:40.

The cross country teams head to the South Coast Conference Championships next on Friday, Oct. 28, at Legg Lake in Whittier, Calif.
