
Six El Camino College men's water polo players earned All-Southern California Regional and All-South Coast Conference honors for the 2024 season.
Sophomore Scott Fujiwara (Redondo Beach, Calif./Redondo Union HS) and freshman Max Hale (El Segundo, Calif./El Segundo HS) led the way with All-Southern California Regional Second-Team honors.
Fujiwara scored 72 goals on the season and led the team with 69 assists and 75 steals. Hale led the team with 110 goals and added 59 steals and 64 steals.
The pair also earned All-South Coast Conference First-Team honors.
Four of their teammates also earned All-SCC honors. Freshman Robbie Josic and sophomore Heitor Trefilio were named to the second-team while sophomore Marc Bugarin and freshman Zane Johnson earned honorable mention.
Second on the team with 90 goals, Josic (San Pedro, Calif./South Torrance HS) was one of five players to play in all 36 games and added 32 assists, 41 steals and 10 blocks.
Trefilio (Sao Paolo, Brazil/Peninsula HS) led the Warriors with 23 blocks and 74 assists. He was third on the team with 74 goals and 55 steals.
With 73 goals on the year, Bugarin (San Pedro, Calif./San Pedro HS) also had 28 assists and 25 steals.
Johnson (Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif./Palos Verdes HS) scored 52 goals with 44 assists and 40 steals.
