TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College jumped out to a huge lead early and never looked back in a 17-5 non-conference win over Fullerton on Wednesday afternoon at the ECC Aquatics Center.

Marc Bugarin and Blake Klade each scored four times to lead the offensive barrage by the Warriors with Scott Fujiwara adding three goals. Heitor Trefilio and Brayden Sanchez each scored twice with Jonas Nygren and Tyler Reed rounding out the scoring for the Warriors.

Things got out of hand quickly as the Warriors jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter. Bugarin and Klade scored three of their goals in the opening period. The Hornets did not score until the closing seconds of the first to make it 10-1.

They would score three straight to make it 10-3 but they never got any closer as the Warriors outscored Fullerton 6-2 in the second half.

The Warriors will return to action on Saturday when they host the El Camino College Mini Tournament. They will face Palomar at 9 a.m. and will conclude the day against San Diego Mesa at 2 p.m.
