Griffith and Allyn Named to the All-Region Team

TORRANCE, Calif. - It was announced by the CCCAA that Nate Griffith and Cole Allyn of the El Camino College men's water polo team were both named to the CCCAA So-Cal Region Second Team.

Sophomore Nate Griffith was also named an All-American in addition to being on the All-Region second team. Griffth had a fantastic season where he was second on the team in goals scored (89), second on the team in assists (58), and led the team with 84 steals. Griffith joined the El Camino College single season all-time top 10 performance record in Goals (7th), Assists (new school record), Steals (9th), and Exclusions Drawn (8th).

Freshman Cole Allyn had a fantastic freshman season for the Warriors. Allyn led the team with 101 goals scored. He also was third on the team with 56 assists and had 12 blocks and drew 26 exclusions. Allyn was 7th overall in the state in goals scored. Allyn joined the El Camino College single all-time top 10 performances in goals (2nd), field blocks (6th), and exclusions drawn (7th).

The Warriors finished the season overall with a 20-11 record which was their second highest win total in school history. They also qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 1993.
