TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College dropped its final match of the season on Friday night in a 3-2 (25-18, 21-25, 25-17, 20-25, 15-9) loss to Santa Monica at the ECC Gym Complex.
The Warriors got a match-high 16 kills from Garrett Gronbach along with four blocks while Jake Suson added 12 kills with Jacob Flanagan dishing out 29 assists in the loss.
For the Corsairs, Bryce Bowsher led the way with 15 kills while Peter Dalton Droog and Nathan Kramer added nine kills apiece. Jason Walmer dished out 30 assists.
The Warriors honored their four sophomores prior to the match as Suson, Flanagan, Michael Derouin and Diego Vetus all played the final match of their ECC careers.
Derouin dished out one assist with two digs and Vetus had three digs.
