Warriors Fall to Orange Coast in Four

TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College dropped 3-1 (25-20, 25-13, 23-25, 25-16) non-conference decision to visiting Orange Coast on Friday night at the ECC Gym Complex.
The loss was the Warriors' (1-3) second straight defeat at the hands of the Pirates (5-0), who downed ECC in three on Feb. 5 at the OCC Quad.
On Friday night, the Warriors offense struggled as they attacked at just a .125 clip on the night. Travis Hannemann led ECC with nine kills but committed eight errors on 32 swings. Andrew White and Ethan Morgan each chipped in with seven kills as Vladimir Kubr dished out 32 assists but it was not enough.
Will Anderson buoyed the Pirates with 20 kills on 34 swings with eight miscues, good for a .353 attack percentage. Cash Adamsen and Sam Warren each had 13 kills apiece and Josh Friedman dished out 52 assists on the night, setting the Pirates to a .406 team attack percentage.
The Warriors will return to action on Wednesday night to take on San Diego Mesa at the ECC Gym Complex. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
