Warriors Fall to Eagles in Conference Match
TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College suffered a 5-4 Inland Empire Conference loss to visiting Mount San Jacinto on Tuesday afternoon at the ECC Tennis Courts.
The Warriors split the six singles matches with the Eagles but lost the final two doubles matches to suffer the loss and drop their 10th straight match.
Despite the loss, Shubham Waldiya continued his excellent season in conference play as he improved to 7-1 in conference action as he won the No. 1 match. He's now won four straight matches.
Sasha Sewell improved to 10-4 on the year and stayed undefeated in IEAC play after winning his match in straight sets. He is 9-0 in IEAC play and has also won four straight.
Alejandro Blanco also won his match to improve to 4-3 in IEAC singles play.
The Warriors will close out their home schedule on Thursday afternoon as they host San Diego City at 2 p.m.
