OJAI, Calif. – El Camino College's remaining two doubles teams were ousted Friday morning in the Round of 32 at the CCCAA Men's Tennis State Championships at the Ojai Valley Tennis Club in Ojai, Calif.

The Warriors remaining teams each fell in straight sets on Friday, bringing the 2019 to its conclusion. Hollard Choi and Stephen Whitman fell to Julian Lafond and Leszek Mirecki of Irvine Valley, the No. 2 seed from Southern California. Choi and Whitman struggled to get anything going against one of the top seeds in the tournament and fell 6-0, 6-1.

Connor Davis and Trey Vasquez, the top doubles team for the Warriors all season, won twice on Thursday to advance to the Round of 32. But they would not pull out a repeat performance, falling to Ameer Hosain and Saar Rogovski of College of the Desert in straight sets.

The Warriors finished the season with an 8-7 overall record in dual matches and finished second in the conference with a 7-2 record in Western State Conference, East Division action.
