Warriors Fall to Orange Coast in Season Opener

TORRANCE, Calif. – El Camino College scored a couple of singles victories and a win in doubles but fell to Orange Coast College, 6-3, in the 2018 season opener Tuesday afternoon at the ECC Tennis Courts.

Trey Vasquez scored a win in his No. 2 singles match (6-3, 6-0) and Kyle Ou won his No. 3 singles contest easily (6-2, 6-1). The No. 1 doubles squad of Connor Davis and Stephen Whitman recorded an 8-1 victory in their match but the Pirates captured the rest of the matches to score the victory.

The Warriors will return to action Thursday afternoon against Glendale at the ECC Tennis Courts. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
