Men's Tennis Falls Short At Mt. SAC, 4-3

WALNUT, Calif. - Men's Tennis came close to defeating Mt. San Antonio College but fell 4-3.

The Warriors and the Mounties were down players but Kyle Ou dominated his matches 6-4, 6-1. "He was in control the whole time," commented Coach Darin Dunn.

Louis Tanada went through three sets but fell to Brandon Narvaez 4-6, 6-2, 10-5, while Jie Ong also fought through three sets (6-2, 2-6, 10-3). "They were both working incredibly hard but just fell short."

Daniel Fisher lost his singles match 6-0, 6-4 while Chris Gordon won off a forfeit.

In doubles, Tanada/Gordon dropped to Dustin Shin and Russell Hao 8-5 but Ou/Ong dominated their court 8-6.

"We are disappointed in the result today and felt we should have played much better in singles and doubles today."

The Warriors will face Cypress College at home on Wednesday, March 8th at 2pm.
