TORRANCE, Calif. - The El Camino College men's soccer team dominated the visiting Glendale College Vaqueros 4-1 on Tuesday afternoon at the ECC Soccer Field.

The Warriors (5-0-1) won their fourth match in a row as they overwhelmed the Vaquero defense.  The Warriors outshot Glendale 33-to-2 for the game along with 14 shots on goal to Glendale's 1 shot on goal. The Warriors also had 9 corner kicks and a couple of offsides calls that prevented the scoreline from being higher.

The Warriors had four unique goalscorers with Joshua Zendejas, Marvin Gamez, Aldahir Rua, and Franco De Luna finding the back of the net.

Joshua Zendejas got the Warriors scoring started after their eighth shot attempt of the game in the 20th minute. Franco De Luna passed a ball up the pitch to Diego Martinez who laid it back to Zendejas. Zendejas ripped a shot to the lower left corner for the breakthrough goal against the Glendale defense to make it 1-0.

The Warriors led 1-0 after halftime before adding three in the second half.

In the 54th minute, Marvin Gamez scored his fifth goal of the season. Aldahir Rua played a loose ball to Gamez inside the game. Gamez took a short run up to the ball and rifled in a blast past to the keeper's right side and they weren't able to react to the shot.

The Warriors added a third in the 80th minute in similar fashion. Steven Alvarenga played a ball to Aldahir Rua and Rua drilled the shot to the lower right corner of the box to make it 3-0.

The Vaqueros got one back in the 86th minute after Kevin Anjunyan scored after poking the ball away from the Warriors defense inside their box.

Franco De Luna scored his first goal of the season in the 90th minute after a penalty kick. A Warrior player was hacked down inside the box on a hard foul by Alek Kolsuzyan. De Luna was able to convert his penalty to make it 4-1 for the final bit of action from the game.
