TORRANCE, Calif. --- One game after erupting on offense, El Camino College raised the stakes with a dominating 11-1 non-conference victory over visiting Cypress on Tuesday afternoon at the ECC Soccer Field.

The Warriors scored double-digit goals for the first time in recent recorded history (since 2012) along with their largest margin of victory (10).

Shingo Nakano and Emiliano Amaro each scored twice while Gamez, Isaac Machuca, Alexander Salas, Ty Kerns and Charlie Cazares all recorded two assists on the day.

Gamez recorded his three goals in the first half as he led the Warriors to a 5-0 lead at the break. The Warriors continued to apply the pressure in the second half with mostly reserves and scored six times. Overall, the team had 23 shots with 14 on target.

The Warriors longest drought without a goal during the rout was 16 minutes. The team has now scored 28 goals in five matches which is the most in the 3C2A. They are also averaging 5.60 goals per game and have scored multiple goals in all four wins.

The team will return to action on Friday afternoon with a night game at Palomar. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
