TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College unleashed its offense on Tuesday afternoon with a dominant 7-0 non-conference win over San Diego Mesa at the ECC Soccer Field.

The Warriors (4-1) scored their third straight victory and tallied the most goals in a game and largest margin of victory in head coach Mike Jacobson's tenure at the helm of the squad.

Andy Cabrera and Alek Palomares each scored two goals with Jovanny Mejia, Mario Carlos and Emiliano Amaro each finding the back of the net as well. Cabrera also tallied an assist as did Carlos while Donovan Palomares recorded his fourth win of the season in net. He and Turner Crump combined to turn in the Warriors' third clean sheet of the season.

It was an incredibly dominant effort in all facets of the game for ECC as they outshot the Olympians 30-4 with a 9-1 edge in shots on target. The Warriors also had 10 corner kicks while not allowing any to the visitors.

Prior to Tuesday's win, the Warriors high for goals in a game and margin of victory during Jacobson's era was six, which occurred last season in a 6-0 home win over Compton on October 5, 2021. In that game, the Warriors led 1-0 at the half before putting on a show with five goals in the second half.

The Warriors will return to action on Friday with another non-conference tilt against Palomar in the second of three straight home games for the Warriors. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
