Four Warriors Receive All-South Coast Conference Honors

El Camino College had four players earn postseason recognition as the All-South Coast Conference Team was released this week.

The Warriors had two players on the All-SCC South Conference First Team and two players on the All-SCC South Conference Second Team. All four players to earn post-season recognition were sophomores.

Jason Santana was named to the All-SCC South First Team.  He led the Warriors with nine goals on the season including two game winning goals.  He led the team in points (22) and also had four assists.  He was tied with two other SCC South players for third in the conference with nine goals.  His 22 points were tied with another player for third in the conference and his 54 shots were good for third in the conference. 

Misa Serrano was the other Warrior named to the All-SCC South Conference First Team.  Serrano was the main creator for the offense and led the team with six assists which tied him with three other players in the SCC South for third in the conference.  Serrano also chipped in three goals for the Warriors. 

Reyes Jaimes was named to the All-SCC South Conference Second Team.  Jaimes was one of stalwarts of the Warrior midfield.  He scored four goals (including one game-winning goal) and had two assists for the season.  His 10 points were tied for third in the team.  

Stephen Vincent was named to the All-SCC South Conference Team.   Vincent was the captain of the team and leader of the Warrior backline.  He helped organized the defense that kept two clean sheets for the season.
