Warriors Finish Season with 2-2 Draw Against Seahawks

WILMINGTON, Calif. - El Camino College wrapped up its season finale with a 2-2 draw against LA Harbor on the road on Friday morning.

The Warriors (6-9-7, 0-5-3) were looking to avenge an earlier 4-1 loss they suffered against LA Harbor (2-13-6, 1-5-2) on October 10th.

John Cerda opened up the scoring for the Warriors in the 22nd minute to pick up his first goal of the season.

Right before halftime, the Warriors conceded a goal to Dennys Steve Avelar to make it 1-1.

The Warriors would regain the lead 2-1 in the 67th minute when Reyes Jaimes converted a penalty kick.

However, the Warriors couldn't close the game out and again let in a late goal by Avelar to make the game 2-2.
Cesar Amezcua started in goal for the Warriors.  He tallied five saves on the morning.  Hector Gutierrez played the second half for the Warriors, and was credited with one save.

The Warriors finished the month of November with three consecutive draws and finished just short of qualifying for the state playoffs.
