Men’s Golf Returns to Action at Navy Golf Course
CYPRESS, Calif. --- After 11 days off, El Camino College returned to action on Monday at the second Orange Empire Conference match of the season hosted by Cypress College at the Navy Golf Course in Cypress, Calif.
The Warriors were led by Aden Henry and Kevin Hikichi as both players shot a 10-over 82. Mason Montgomery (College of the Desert), Cory Rose (Victor Valley) and Isaiah Torres (Mt. San Jacinto) all earned medalist honors as each player shot a 3-under 69. Overall, seven of the 54 players shot under par, the most in an OEC match this season.
On the team side, College of the Desert scored the win with a 14-over 374. Orange Coast finished second with a 377 and Cypress placed third with a 380.
The Warriors will be back in action on Wednesday for the third conference match of the season hosted by Mt. San Jacinto at Soboba Springs Golf Club.
