Hikichi, Henry Pace Warriors at Eagle Classic

SAN JACINTO, Calif. --- El Camino College competed at the Eagle Classic hosted by Mt. San Jacinto College on Wednesday morning at Soboba Springs Golf Course.

Sophomore Kevin Hikichi and freshman Aden Henry paced the Warriors as both players shot a 5-over 77, placing both players in a three-way tie for 17th place in the 69-player field. Tyler Chapman of Orange Coast also posted a 77.

There were 10 teams that competed at the tournament with Orange Coast recording the victory, posting a 381 overall, 21 shots over par. Mount San Antonio placed second with a 383 and Reedley finished third with a 384. The Warriors placed 10th with a score of 432.

Hayden Beltran of Mt. SAC earned medalist honors with a 1-over 73.

The Warriors return to action on Monday, Feb. 24 at the Riverside Invitational hosted by Riverside City College at Victoria Golf Club.
