Warriors Finish Fifth in Host Match at Los Verdes Golf Course

El Camino College carded its first official result of the season, finishing fifth in its Orange Empire Conference Host Match at Los Verdes Golf Course in Palos Verdes, Calif.

Dylan Marschall paced the Warriors on Monday as he carded a 4-over 75 to finish in a tie for 14th place. He finished five shots back of co-medalists Luke Bartram (Cypress) and Michael Lin (Orange Coast), who both shot a 1-under 70 on the day.

All five golfers finished the course for the first time this season for the Warriors, giving them an official team score of 493 (+138) to finish fifth in the match. Cypress recorded the victory as they shot a cumulative 7-over 362.

The Warriors will return to action on March 16 with the third OEC Match of the conference season which will be hosted by Saddleback at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Course in Mission Viejo, Calif. The first group is set to tee off at 11 a.m.
